Next generation (electro) mobility projects

NUVIA won new contracts for the automotive industry at home and abroad

NUVIA CZ has been awarded four contracts for projects in total amount of 4 million euros in June 2020. All projects are focusing on design and manufacture of machinery for automotive industry. The delivered machinery will be integrated into manufacturing lines mainly for automotive HVAC components production. Individual products will then enter multiple types and brands of traditional combustion engine automobiles and EVs. For combustion engine powered cars NUVIA will deliver two machines producing thermostat assemblies, remaining two machines aimed at EVs will be manufacturing components for interior heating and battery pack heat sinks. The EV heating elements, as designed by the car companies, are using next generation high-voltage positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heating elements. Included in the delivery of this machine will be testing and parametrization module. The other machine aimed at the final assembly and testing of battery pack heat sinks will be able to process wide range of battery pack types.

All mentioned projects will feature high levels of automatization and integration of innovative technological and robotic systems. Machines will be installed either in the Czech Republic or Democratic Republic of China.

It is gratifying that, after half a year of uncertainty in the automotive industry, we have been able to re-establish the successful cooperation of previous years.
