NUVIA reconstructs the reactor hall lighting at Temelín NPP

Implementation of the Nuclear Power Division contract at nuclear power plant.

The Nuclear Power Division is currently implementing the reconstruction of the reactor hall illumination during the ongoing Unit 1 shutdown at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. A total of 60 pieces of original discharge lamps are replaced by new LEDs, which are located on the containment canopy (dimension +62 m). The lights are tested both for durability and seismicity and radiation resistance. Due to the ongoing work in the reactor hall, including open pools, it is necessary to take very strict precautions against falling objects during the work and prevent any possible entry of foreign objects into the open technologies. Our colleagues will replace 12 lights on a polar bridge crane in the next phase.
