NUVIA introduces news in the field of security of radioactive material

We take part at the IAEA conference in Vienna.

The International Security of Radioactive Material Conference: The Way Forward for Prevention and Detection organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is held in Vienna this week. The purpose of the conference is to foster the exchange of practices and experiences related to the security of radioactive material under regulatory control in use, transport and storage, and detection systems to prevent illicit trafficking of radioactive materials out of regulatory control.

NUVIA introduces new systems developed to control and monitor radioactivity there. This is in particular a new generation of a lightweight module for the measurement of radioactive contamination using unmanned devices, the NuVISION gamma camera, which represents a combined video technology with simultaneous display of so-called hot spots (radioactive sources), portal monitors for pedestrians and cars monitoring or belt barriers with an integrated radiation detector to monitor the passengers, particularly at airports or railway stations.
