CEO of NUVIA was elected to Academic Council of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic

Martin Pazúr, NUVIA’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, was elected a member of the Academic Council of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic for the period 2018-2022. Martin Pazúr as one of the representatives of industry and business circles will promote increased support for research, experimental development and innovation and efficient transfer of its results into commercial applications.

For the past twenty years, NUVIA has been working closely with the academic community on research projects and has been involved in technology transfer from these projects. In recent years NUVIA teams have been involved in 6 European EMPIR / EMRP projects, 4 TACR projects and 7 security research projects of the Czech Ministry of the Interior. NUVIA also leads the RANUS Nuclear and Radiation Safety Development Project within the TACR Competence Center, with a total volume of CZK 340 million. In cooperation with the Czech research institutions, NUVIA participates in the supply of technological units as a contribution of the Czech Republic to the construction of large international research infrastructures (ITER, JHR, ELI, CERN, Dubna and ESS).
