Completion of the cyclotron equipment at the Nuclear Physics Institute of the CAS

NUVIA's performance was highly appreciated at the opening ceremony.

The ceremonial opening of the radiochemical laboratories of the cyclotron facility was held in the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (CAS) in Řež. The ribbon was cut by Mrs Eva Zažímalová, the President of the CAS. Mr Petr Lukáš, the Institute's Director, gave the introductory speech. The event was attended by NUVIA’s management team as the supplier of key components of this hi-tech facility.

The new workplace combines the cyclotron used for the radiopharmaceuticals production with analytical laboratories featuring NUVIA’s newly developed CRAB2RABBIT system, which is used to automatically process the cyclotron’s target and transport it through a pipe to the hot cell without human intervention.

Mr Ondřej Lebeda, the Head of the Radiopharmaceuticals Department, praised NUVIA's flexible and highly professional approach to the project, that lead to a top-notch scientific laboratory.
