20 years of the Slovak Republic in the CERN03.10.2012
The exhibition titled „20 years Slovak Republic at CERN“ took place in Geneva within the premises of European Organization for Nuclear Research – CERN during September 11th – 13th, 2012.
The event was organized under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Republic's Permanent Mission to the UN at the special occasion of the first visit of president of the Slovak Republic at CERN. The aim was to present the Slovak private sector success within this renown research centre so far, but also to present new possibilities to the researchers. ENVINET is one of the four invited private companies, which had the honor to present their portfolio to the Slovak president Ivan Gašparovič and his delegation including the Minister of foreign affairs Miroslav Lajčák. The emphasis was on the detectors manufacturing, unique production of analyzers, development of the state-of-the-art lead-free shielding and the equipment for mobile and stationary environmental monitoring. The discussions with the CERN representatives have shown ENVINET's very strong potential as the supplier in the field of ionizing radiation detection, individuals and environment monitoring. Future activities of ENVINET will be also focused on development of gained valuable contacts and supply possibilities to the CERN during close Large Hadron Collider shutdown.
